Title: Art History and Cross-Culture: Some Curatorial Meditations

This talk walks through curatorial projects that rearticulate the history of art and the discipline of art history in a generative contemporary context. It will also look at projects that tend to risk the gesture of constellating “cultures” within schemes that may have previously excluded them or that they may resist; or of creating a “sudden vicinity of things” animated by difficult differences and the potentials of crossing and solidarity.
