Ngo Thi Thanh

Ngo Thi Thanh lives and works in Hanoi, Vietnam. She graduated from Hanoi University of Education in 2008 before getting a certification of Film studies for a one-year course funded by Ford Foundation. Her first short film was launched in 2009 as a part of Hanoi DOCLAB film-making course. From then, she has been taking part in Hanoi DOCLAB which is the first center for documentary and experimental films in Vietnam for over 10 years. She devotes herself to writing and speaking of literature, art and cinema. Her activities include critical writing, curating and independent film-making. The main subjects consistently coming to her are equality, aesthetics and politics.

Daria Kuznetsova

In 2020, Daria graduated from a Bachelor of Asian Studies (History of Asian and African countries) program. She did internships at different museums of contemporary art in Moscow and worked in the publishing and inclusive departments. In her last undergraduate years, Daria turned her attention to contemporary art, as well as post-colonial studies, so she came to Taiwan to pursue a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art Curation and Critique. She is most interested in East Asian and Central Asian art.

Rakotoarisoa Cynthia Marie Christelle

Cynthia is a French-Malagasy student who’s passionate about the artistic and cultural field. She completed her first Master’s in Maastricht where she focused on heritage studies. Currently, she is interested in curatorial studies and exhibition-making, especially the curation of popular culture. She enjoys painting, learning about languages, and cooking.

Pimpakaporn Pornpeng

Fahmui is an independent curator, chef, and explorer from Thailand. Her interest focuses on the Southeast-Asian gastronomic culture and its effects on the ecosystem or environment and within the community. Throughout her practice, she creates a sustainable cycle of giving back to the community, as Pornpeng has been working as well as a project manager in cultural knowledge management with Creative Economy Agency (Khonkaen, Thailand). Pimpakaporn Pornpeng holds a BA in Art History from Silpakorn University in Thailand and is currently studying master’s in arts in Critical and Curatorial of Contemporary art at the National Taipei University of Education.

Sinlapakorn Rittirong (Biggs)

A Thai exhibition creator with a passion for children’s museums, interactive art, and experiential attractions, his aspiration is to become a storyteller who provides all visitors with a fresh, meaningful, and inspiring journey’s experience.

Lucas Teng Xin Zhe

Lucas Teng is from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Communication, majoring in Advertising Design at Sunway University, Malaysia. Lucas is most interested in visual arts, especially photography and moving images that highlight cultural and social commentary within the Asia region. Prior to joining CCSCA, Lucas was working at a Malaysian film lab named Darkroom8 as a content strategist-cum-lab assistant in which he was developing and scanning film rolls of various types on a daily basis while also crafting educational articles catering to the customers with a focus on both informational and technical aspects of film photography. While in Taiwan, Lucas is dedicated to venturing into the local visual arts scene related to sociocultural photographic artworks and exploring the possibility of collaboration in creating photo books.

La Benida Hui

La Benida Hui has a BFA in illustration from Parsons School of Design in New York, and is certified to teach art education. In 2010 she established R.A.R.E., an environmental art education and exhibition design studio/珍稀環境藝術工室. R.A.R.E. programs have expanded into community art projects with exhibits in New York, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Naichen Ko

Naichen holds a BA degree in Culture Studies from Tamkang University in Taiwan and studied Arts Management at Centennial College in Toronto Canada. She is the Head of Gallery Relations for ONE ART Taipei hotel art fair where she holds years of experience in event execution and art fair production. Driving Naichen is her passion for curatorial methodology, art education and community engagement. Through CCSCA program, she plans to enhance her curatorial knowledge and deepen her understanding of contemporary art.

Huang Hua-Wei

Graduated from the Department of Art and Design, currently studying at CCSCA (Critical and Curatorial Studies of Contemporary Art) at NTUE, and working as a part-time worker student at school Art Museum (MoNTUE).

Interested in relational aesthetics, participatory art, and art economics. Since I mainly focused on artistic creation during my college days, I do not exclude continuing to create in the future, and at the same time engage in work related to art administration.

Past experience includes doing art creation in community work camps, space planning for music festivals, assisting artists in co-creation, working as an exhibition curator assistant, and serving as the assistant caller for graduation exhibition preparation. And participated in the summer internship at Taoyuan Museum of Fine Art, and then served as an intern at the Museum of NTUE (MoNTUE).

Abdirisak Ismail Qalinle

Abdirisak Ismail Qalinle hails from Somaliland. He was fortunate enough to receive a government scholarship to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering at the International University of Africa in Khartoum, Sudan. He completed his degree with honors in 2009. In 2020, while employed part-time with Somaliland’s National Heritage Collection Center, responsible for the establishment of the National Museum of Somaliland, he developed a keen interest in the field of arts and heritage. In 2021, he was granted the MOFA Taiwan scholarship to pursue a master’s degree in Taiwan. He dedicated the period from October 1, 2021 to August 31, 2022 to learn the Chinese language at Kun Shan University of Technology in Tainan, Taiwan. In September 2022, he commenced a master’s degree in Critical and Curatorial Studies of Contemporary Art at National Taipei University of Education. His research interests encompass the areas of new media art, new museology, and museum management. Upon completion of his studies at CCSCA, he intends to return to his home country and apply his knowledge and expertise towards the development of Somaliland’s first National Museum, which is currently under construction.
