Chong Hui Shien is a new emerging artist from Penang, Malaysia, currently based in Taipei, Taiwan. After pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at USM Malaysia, she is now enrolled in a Master’s program in Critical and Curatorial Studies of Contemporary Arts in Taipei. Her art practices encompass mixed media paintings, installations, and textile works. She exhibits a penchant for adventure, an inclination that leads her to delve into diverse art mediums, amalgamating them to craft a comprehensive body of works that convey profound meanings and messages. Her enthusiasm for exploring various cultures and beliefs contributes to her ability to synthesise them harmoniously, generating fresh and captivating artistic expressions. She has consistently held the belief that art serves as a tool for both emotional expression and healing. As a result, much of her creative output revolves around her own journey of healing. With a firm belief in perpetual learning, she finds herself drawn to the realms of education and curatorial studies, recognising that life's essence lies in continuous discovery.

Born in Ipoh, Malaysia, Voon is a Taipei-based research assistant. She explores how museums can become more inclusive and accessible, with a research focus on art education and outreach beyond museum walls, examining how audiences engage with art in different contexts.
With a background in Cultural and Creative Industries Management from NTUE, she has contributed to Rice Matters, a study on Taiwan’s rice culture, and gained hands-on experience through internships at various art and cultural institutions.

Dmitry Staritsyn, from Vladivostok, Russia, holds a B.A. in Chinese Studies, with academic experience in Shanghai and Hong Kong, and an M.A. in Art History, specializing in visual culture and cinema, with a minor in art management and museum curatorship.
Before joining CCSCA, Dmitry held managerial positions at the Museum of Far East History and curated the programs for the Pacific Meridian International Film Festival of Asian Pacific Countries. He has also contributed to numerous cultural projects focused on cinema and contemporary art across institutions in the Russian Far East.
With a foundation in both professional and academic spheres, Dmitry is now pursuing a second M.A. in CCSCA, aiming to refine his research skills and make meaningful contributions to the studies of visual culture and curatorial practices in East Asia, while fostering cross-border communication.

ldrick Yuji Los Baños (@eldrickyujir on Instagram) is a cultural worker and educator. He graduated magna cum laude from the Ateneo de Manila University with a BFA in Art Management. Born in the Philippines and raised in the UAE, he has held positions in cultural institutions in both countries, including Ateneo Art Gallery, Assumption College San Lorenzo, Dirwaza Curatorial Lab, and the Philippine Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai; as a freelance art writer, he has also written for Arte Bettina and The ManilaBang Show. In 2021, he curated Katúlad/Kahádha: Modern Filipino & Arab Art, 1950s–1980s (@ktldkhda on Instagram). He received the Ministry of Education (MOE) Taiwan Scholarship in 2024 to pursue a master’s degree in Critical and Curatorial Studies of Contemporary Art (CCSCA) in Taipei, where he is currently based.

Irene Canovas is a Spanish-licensed architect with a B.Arch from IE University. She has worked in architecture offices in Madrid, Berlin, and Taipei. In her free time, Irene likes studying languages and writing poetry. In 2021, she settled in Taiwan, where she enjoys practising Mandarin, acting, and martial arts. She is studying for an MA in Critical and Curatorial Studies in Contemporary Art at NTUE and is curious about curating performance art.

An art practitioner based in Taipei, Taiwan. Tseng is engaged in curatorial work, research, and critical writing, and is currently enrolled in the Critical and Curatorial Studies of Contemporary Art (CCSCA) MA program at NTUE. His research interests include Asian visual culture, post-war conceptual art, and social issues related to urban public spaces. Recent exhibition projects include Green Island Biennial: Duration of 149 Sea Miles (2025, National Human Rights Museum) as Co-curator, Measured in Feet (2023, Honggah Museum) as Co-researcher, and Co-becoming(s) (2023, MoNTUE) as Research Assistant. His articles have been featured in platforms such as ARTouch, CLABO, and ICCS’s CJD digital platform.
