Meiqin Wang is a professor of art history at California State University Northridge. Her research focuses on the recent developments of contemporary art from China and their social, political, economic, and institutional implications in the context of commercialization, urbanization and globalization of the Chinese world. Her research interests also include contemporary art of the Asian world and international exhibitions.
